Surrounding the cabin there are plenty of places to eat and get drinks while on the water. Within walking distance you can go to Pat's Landing bar and grill, or Chief Lake Lodge bar and Grill. There are also plenty of other bars and restaurants that you can dock your boat to on the water. If you are looking to do something a little more fancy you can take a 10 minute drive into the town of Hayward where you can enjoy a fancy dinner at The Hayward Steakhouse and Lounge, or head to downtown Hayward where there is a large assortment of restaurants!

SUMMER ACTIVITIES
It's hard to beat the beauty of the wildlife in the summertime. From boating, swimming, canoeing, and fishing to barbecuing and roasting s'mores, your day will never be short of fresh air and wildlife during the summer months at Eagle Point.
It is highly recommended that you bring your boats and water toys when coming in the summertime. If you do not have these, you can easily rent a boat from the City of Hayward which is only about 5 miles from Eagle Point.

WINTER ACTIVITIES
During the cold months the flowage turns into a living winter wonderland! The entire body of water freezes over and transforms into an ice fishers paradise! People from all around the US visit the flowage JUST for this reason. Not into ice Fishing? Thats okay too, because there are plenty of snow mobile, hiking, and cross country skiing trails!

During the winter months bring your warmest ice fishing gear and snowmobiles! There are hundreds of trails leading into the well known city of Hayward where you can stop for lunch and a hot chocolate before heading back out into the winter wonderland!

Hayward is also known for their yearly cross country skiing race called the Birkebeiner Race where races complete 50 miles of winter terrain!
